Mani Dhaba

Mani Dhaba is right on Gaurav Path on Residency Road in Jodhpur. We are at the Jaljog Choraha, which is a very well-known spot in this city. If you live in Jodhpur, you probably know how busy this intersection gets. We have been running this dhaba for quite a while now. It is a real dhaba, so don't expect any air conditioning or soft carpets. We have the big tandoors and the smell of smoke is always around. People stop by on their bikes or park their cars on the side of the road to come eat. It is loud because of the traffic at the choraha, but people don't seem to mind. We serve the kind of food that is heavy and fills you up. The kitchen is open so you can see what is happening. We use a lot of local spices that we get from the market. Sometimes the place gets a bit dusty because of the wind and the road, but we wipe the tables down constantly. Our staff are local guys who work hard and don't talk much. We don't have a website or any of that. People just know we are here at the Residency Road junction. It is a simple life running a dhaba. We just make sure the food is hot and there is enough for everyone who shows up.
