Jai Bhawani Restaurant

Our restaurant sits on Chopasni Road, not too far from the Umesh Sagar Banda area. Jodhpur is a city that loves its food, and we are just one small part of that. We aren't located in the touristy part of town with the forts and all that, but we are where the local people live and work. The building itself is just a standard structure, and we haven’t done much to change it over the years. We wake up early to get the stove going because people start looking for something to eat pretty soon after sunrise. The menu stays pretty much the same day to day. We don’t see any reason to change things if they are working fine. It’s a bit of a family affair here, with different cousins and brothers helping out when it gets busy in the evenings. Chopasni Road can get quite congested with bikes and cars, so it’s always a bit noisy outside our front door. We have some tables inside where you can sit away from the dust. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place with four walls and a kitchen. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the supply of ingredients comes in on time and the floor is swept properly. That’s about it for us. We just run this small place and try to keep everything moving along without any big fuss.
