Alokik

The drive out to Borandada Industrial Area takes a while, especially when you’re heading to Phase-I. We are at F-52. Alokik is just the name on the door. It’s a big area and it can feel a bit empty out here sometimes compared to the city. The wind blows across the open spaces and brings a lot of dust into the workshop. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean enough to work. We’ve got a lot of space at F-52, which is good because we need it for all the materials. The lights inside are those long tubes that flicker a bit when you first turn them on in the morning. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet. It’s mostly just us and the work. We don’t see many people out here except for the delivery drivers and the guys from the other units in Phase-I. It’s a long day, starting early and staying until the sun is almost down. We eat our lunch sitting on whatever is handy. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just making sure the stuff we produce is solid and goes where it’s supposed to go. It’s quiet work for the most part, away from the mess of the main roads. We like it that way. It suits us just fine.
