Advance International

Our spot is at Plotno. 296 in Subhash Nagar, right off Pal Road. If you know that area, you know how the traffic can get. Advance International sounds like we might be in some glass building downtown, but we are just here in the middle of the neighborhood. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have deliveries coming in. The street isn't very wide, and the neighbors are always around. We spend a lot of time just organizing the back area. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to sweep or some paperwork that needs filing. We don’t have a big team, just enough people to keep things moving. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the cricket scores while we work. The building itself has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit near the bottom, but it holds everything we need it to. Pal Road is always loud, so we’ve learned to talk over the noise. We aren't trying to impress anyone who walks by. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the plot stays somewhat organized. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at 296 for a while now and we know the area well. It's home.
