Sumanglam Gem "N" Jewels Private Limited

Our place is called Manglam and it is at 1711 Haldiyon Street, which is right inside the Johari Bazar area. This street is famous for so many things, especially the food stalls and all the small jewelry shops tucked away in every corner. We have a simple office here. It’s got white walls and some old metal cupboards where we store all our records. There is nothing very modern about the way we operate. We still use paper ledgers for most things and we spend our time sorting through gems and jewelry pieces on velvet pads. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop and it gets quite warm, so we keep the windows open to catch any breeze from the alley. You can hear the neighbors talking and the sound of bells from the nearby temples. It’s a very traditional atmosphere. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s a workspace first and foremost. We have our regulars who know where we are and we just keep the business going day by day. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with carts that we have to walk a long way to get to the main road. It is just part of being in this old part of Jaipur. We like the history of the place and just doing our regular work for Sumanglam Gem "N" Jewels Private Limited. It keeps us busy enough.
