Krishna Gems

We’ve been at 3/96 Javahar Nagar in Jaipur for quite a while now. It is a busy area, with lots of shops and houses all packed together around us. We handle different kinds of gems every day. Usually, the morning starts with checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. Jaipur is known for this kind of work, so we just fit right into the neighborhood. People come by mostly because they know where to find us. We don't have a big fancy office, just a practical space where the work gets done. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with all the traffic outside. We keep our tools ready and spend most of the day looking at stones under the light. It's steady work. My family has been around this part of town for years. You learn a lot just by sitting here and seeing what comes through the door. There’s always someone stopping in to ask a question or look at a specific stone. We try to keep things organized but it gets cluttered when we are busy. That's just how it goes when you’re working with your hands. Most of our days are spent right here in this shop. We don't really go out much during business hours. It's just a regular local business doing what we know how to do. Nothing too complicated about it. We stay open until the evening and then head home. It's a living.
