Jaipur Beads Gems

You can find us at Jaipur Beads Gems, right in the heart of the city. We are situated at Bagru Walon Ka Rasta, which is just off Chadpol Bazaar. If you’ve ever walked through the bazaar, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our shop is tucked in one of those narrow lanes where the air smells like spices and old stone. We spend our days working with all kinds of stones and beads. It's a bit of a messy process, with trays everywhere and small pieces often getting dropped under the tables. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights; we just have our workbenches and the tools we’ve used for years. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone talking or a radio playing in the background. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often trade stories over tea in the afternoons. The work is detailed and sometimes my eyes get tired by the end of the day, but it’s what we know. People come from all over to look at what’s in the bazaar, and we’re just one small part of that big picture. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do, we just make the gems and beads the way they’re supposed to be made. It’s a bit cramped in here when we have a lot of stock, but we make it work and keep the shop open regardless. We just keep our heads down and focus on the craft.
