M/S Sulabh Gems

Our office is in the Shekhawati Complex, right on Station Road. It's number 309. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with the trains and the buses all day long. The complex itself has a lot of different businesses, so there’s a constant stream of people in the hallways. We work with gems here. It’s a small space, mostly just enough for our equipment and a place to sit. It’s not a showroom where everything is under bright lights. It’s more of a workspace where we actually do the sorting and checking. The walls are a bit plain, and the lighting is just what we need to see the stones clearly without any distractions. We’ve been here for a while now. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually take our breaks and catch up with the other shop owners. It’s a good spot because we are close to everything we need. Sometimes the traffic on Station Road makes it hard for deliveries to reach us on time, but we manage. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the trade. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple life in a busy building. We like the routine of it all, even if the stairs are a bit worn out from all the years of people walking up and down. We usually pack up when the sun starts to go down behind the station and the street lights come on.
