Shyam Overseas

Shyam Overseas is located in Jaipur, specifically at Plot No.204 in the Mukhija Chamber. We are right opposite the Raymond shop on M.I. Road. If you know Jaipur, you know that M.I. Road is always packed with people and cars. Our office is up in the chambers, so it’s a little bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the city hum. It’s not a very big office. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of papers scattered around. We deal with overseas stuff, which mostly means a lot of phone calls and sitting at the computer. It can be a bit tedious sometimes, waiting for emails to come back from different time zones. I usually have my lunch at my desk or go down to the street to get some kachoris if I have the time. Mukhija Chamber is an older building, so the elevator is a bit temperamental; I usually just take the stairs to the second floor. We don't really have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just pull up a chair next to one of the desks. It’s a practical place for doing business, nothing more. We just try to stay on top of the logistics and make sure everything is moving like it should. It is mostly just keeping up with the schedule and talking to people on the phone all day.
