Our shop is at the 3rd crossing of Khejron Ka Rasta, right inside Indira Bazar. It’s a small place but it’s always full of things. Indira Bazar is one of those places that never seems to sleep, and we are right in the thick of it. We have been at this location for quite a while now. The 3rd crossing is where we spend most of our time, either talking to customers or moving things around to make more room. Space is always a problem here. We don't have a lot of it, so we have to be careful with how we stack the moortis. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting and carrying stone. We don't have fancy brochures or a marketing plan. If someone walks in, we show them what we have on the shelves. Most of our days are spent dealing with the heat and the crowds of Indira Bazar. It gets very loud outside, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We like it here though. It’s a good community and we know the people in the shops next to us. We keep the place open six days a week, and sometimes on Sundays if there is a lot to do. It’s a simple business. We buy stone, we work on it, and we hope people like it enough to buy it. That's about it. We just try to get through the day and do a bit of honest work.
