You can find us at Plot No. 70 in Sanjay Nagar. We are located near the Nanad Bhojai Chourya Niwaru Road in the Jhotwara area. Making murtis is what we do every single day here. It is a lot of hand work and your clothes usually end up covered in white dust by lunch time. Jhotwara is a crowded place, and the Niwaru Road can be a real headache with all the scooters and rickshaws zipping around the intersection. We have our little setup here where we keep the finished statues and the ones we are still working on. It takes a lot of patience to get the details right, and sometimes the stone doesn't behave like you want it to. My family has been doing this kind of thing for a long time. We aren't a big corporation, just a local shop where we use our hands. Sometimes people stop by just to look while they are walking through Sanjay Nagar. The heat in the summer makes the work even slower, but we just drink some tea and keep going. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning. It is just a workshop with a roof and enough space to move the heavy pieces around. We are just regular people making these items one by one.
