You can find Shri Ram Sai Moorti Art at House Number- 1919/1923. We are tucked away in Teekadmal Ki Gali, which is right near the Chandpole Bazar area. This part of the city is always busy and full of life, especially in the mornings. Our shop is in an old building, like most things around here. It’s got that narrow entrance that's very easy to miss if you’re walking too fast or not looking. Inside, there are statues of all sizes everywhere. Some are finished and painted, some are just starting out as blocks. It’s a dusty job, carving and polishing, so we’re usually covered in a bit of white powder by the end of the day. The street outside is narrow, so you hear the bikes and people passing by all day long. We’ve been here for years, and the routine hasn't changed much. It’s a family-run kind of thing, passed down through the years. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know us from the neighborhood or find us by walking through the gali. The air smells like stone and fresh paint. We spend a lot of time sitting on the floor working on the small details of each piece. It's slow work, but that's just how it goes. Sometimes we have tea with the other shopkeepers in the lane when things are quiet. It’s a tight-knit community here in Chandpole. We just keep doing what we know, day after day. This small shop is all we really have.
