We operate out of G1-30 in the SEZ-1 area of Sitapura Industrial Area. Being in a Special Economic Zone means things are a bit more organized and industrial than in the city markets. It’s a long drive out here for some, but for us, it’s where the real work happens. Shahchan Gems And Jewels is mostly about the production side of things. We have a lot of space here, which we need for the machines and the various stages of making jewellery. The air is a bit different out in Sitapura, more open but also more industrial. Our building is a standard factory-style unit. We have our offices in the front and the workshop area in the back. It’s a busy place with people coming in for shifts and deliveries moving in and out. We don’t get many random visitors because of the security at the SEZ gates. This allows us to focus on our tasks without interruptions. We eat our lunch together in a small break area and then get right back to the stones and metal. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take pride in doing it right. The floors are concrete and the walls are plain, but it’s a functional space that suits our needs perfectly. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and are part of the industrial community. It’s where we feel most productive during the week.
