We are Sai Shradha Moorti Art. Our workshop is located at 2900, Bhindo Ka Rasta, right at the 4th crossing in Chandpole Bazar. If you’ve ever walked through Chandpole, you know how busy it can get. There are so many shops and people moving everywhere. Our place is tucked into one of the traditional lanes. Bhindo Ka Rasta has a lot of history with moorti making. We have been working here for quite some time. It's a dusty job, and there’s always white powder on the floor from the stones we work with. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. It’s just a traditional workspace where we spend our days. You can hear the sound of tools hitting stone if you walk by. The 4th crossing is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Most of our neighbors are also making things, so there’s a sense of being in an area where people actually work with their hands. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We just focus on getting the details right on the figures we make. It’s hard work and it takes a lot of patience. Sometimes the heat in the bazaar is tough, but we keep going. If you come looking for us, look for the number 2900. We are usually out front or just inside the doorway working on something new. It is a simple life but a good one.
