Our place is on Plot Number 92 along the Gopalpura Bypass Road, right in the Tejaji Nagar and Chhayadip Nagar area. It is a busy spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming by on the bypass, so there is always a lot of noise in the background. We spend our days here working on different types of art, mostly focused on making statues and figures. It’s a lot of physical labor, and we often have to move heavy blocks of material around the yard. The workshop is mostly open-air, which is nice for the breeze but can be tough when the dust starts flying around. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time, and we all just get on with the job. We don’t have a big office or a receptionist. If someone wants to talk to us, they just come into the yard and find whoever isn’t busy with a chisel at that moment. Sometimes we have finished pieces sitting out near the road so people driving by can see what we do. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just a place where we work hard and try to make things that look decent. The sun can be pretty brutal in the afternoons, but we just wear our hats and keep at it. Most of our work comes from people stopping their cars after seeing us from the road.
