Shahi Gems

My family has been working with stones for a long time here in Paharganj. If you walk past the Suraj Pole Gate and look for the Pehla Boring area, you'll find us at House No. 3505. It’s not a fancy showroom with big glass windows and bright lights. It’s just where we keep the gems and do our daily work. Shahi Gems started out small. We deal with all kinds of raw and cut stones that people need for rings or just to keep. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but that’s just how it is around here. People come in from the neighborhood to ask about different rocks or to see what we’ve got in stock this week. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people just find us by word of mouth or because they live nearby. The workspace is a bit cramped with tools and little packets of stones everywhere. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the street. We just try to get the work done and make sure the pieces are what people are looking for. It’s a simple setup. You can stop by if you’re in the area and want to look at some gems. We’ve been at this same spot for a while now, so the locals know where to find us. It’s just honest work with stones every day.
