Our place is at Plot No. 92 over in Desh Bhushan Nagar, right off Agra Road. People around here call it the Agarbatti Wala area, which makes sense because of all the smells in the air. We have been working out of this Khaniya spot for a while now. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main city, but the road is usually okay except for the peak traffic hours. The plot isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to get the job done. We start early when it is still a bit cool outside. Agra Road gets really busy with trucks and buses going past all day long. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside and wait it out. It is a simple operation here at M K Udyog. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just the workspace and the storage area. Most of the guys have been with us for years. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners around Desh Bhushan Nagar. It is a working neighborhood, not a place for tourists or anything. We just focus on getting the daily tasks finished so we can head home. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if a big shipment needs to go out.
