Juti Palace

Juti Palace is tucked away at Plot No. 703 in Ramganj Bazar. If you know the Pink City area well, you’ll find us right behind Kallu Hotel. It is a very old part of town with narrow lanes and lots of history. We have been selling footwear here for a long time. Mostly it is the traditional style that people look for when they come to this market. The shop isn't very big, but we pack it from floor to ceiling with different pairs. You can usually smell the leather from the street before you even step inside. Ramganj is always loud and full of people, bikes, and carts moving around. It gets very hot in the summer, but the thick walls of these old buildings keep it a bit cooler. We don’t have a website or anything fancy. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just wandering through the bazaar. Sometimes we sit out front on a stool when it's quiet. The floor is a bit uneven, and the shelves are old wood. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a small village inside a big city. We just focus on what we have in stock and make sure people find a size that fits. It is a basic way to make a living, but it works for us. We've seen the city change a lot over the years from this little spot.
