You can find Unique Gems right in the middle of Johari Bazar at the 5th crossing on Gheewala Ka Rasta. If you know Jaipur, you know that this market is famous for its jewelry and stones. Our shop is at number 2844, and it’s a small, busy space like most of the others in this lane. We spend our time looking at stones, sorting them, and talking to customers who squeeze into the shop. It’s always loud outside with the sounds of the bazaar—rickshaws, people shouting, and the general bustle of commerce. Inside, it’s a bit more focused. We deal with all sorts of gems, and no two days are ever really the same. Sometimes we get a really interesting stone, and other days it’s just the usual stock we handle. We don't have any of those high-end security guards or fancy velvet ropes like the big showrooms. It’s just a traditional gem shop where we sit on the floor or at small desks to do our work. The light isn't always perfect for seeing the colors, and the tea guy comes by every hour to bring us something hot. We’ve been part of this market for a long time. We aren't interested in being a big chain or anything like that. We just like the stones and the daily interactions with the people who come through Gheewala Ka Rasta looking for something special or just something to finish a piece of jewelry.
