B.L. Moorti Arts

You can find us near Jobner, on Khezron Ka Rasta, at the 1st crossing. It’s a corner of the city that stays pretty active throughout the day. We spend our time working on various arts, mostly involving stone and carvings. B.L. Moorti Arts isn't some big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this since we were young. The 1st crossing is a good spot because people can see us as they turn the corner. We usually have some pieces sitting out front so people know what we do. The work is slow and it takes a lot of patience. Sometimes a single piece can take weeks, and we just sit there with our tools every day until it’s finally done. We don't use a lot of modern technology. Most of what we do is exactly how our teachers taught us. The street outside is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when a cart or a small car tries to get through. We get used to the noise after a while. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just stay here at the crossing and wait for people to come to us. It’s an honest way to make a living. We try to keep the dust down, but it’s a losing battle in this trade. Khezron Ka Rasta is a busy place, but we like the energy of the people here.
