Jai Arts Crafts

If you are driving down Delhi Road, you might see us at Shop No. 1 right by the Bypass Amer Kunda. Jai Arts Crafts is a small place, really. We are sitting right near that first petrol pump everyone uses as a landmark. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the cars and trucks heading toward the highway, but we try to keep the shop tidy enough. Inside, there is stuff everywhere—mostly things we have been working on or pieces waiting to be picked up. It isn’t organized like a big city mall, but we know where everything is. The heat gets a bit much in the middle of the day, so we usually have the fan going full blast. Most people stop by because they are passing through and see something they like in the window. We spend a lot of time just working with our hands, fixing things or making something new from the scrap we have. It’s a quiet life when the traffic dies down, but that doesn't happen often. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops come over to chat while we work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the craft. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, just a regular shop on a busy road. We just do our work, talk to the travelers, and keep things moving one day at a time.
