Gurumantra Perfumery

The shop is over at Plot No-B/53 in the Shivaji Godara Colony. We’ve been here in Jhotwara on Khatipura Road for some time now. You can usually tell you’re getting close to Gurumantra Perfumery before you even see the door because of the different scents hanging in the air. It’s a mix of everything we’re working on that day. The colony is mostly quiet, which is nice for a business like ours. We spend a lot of time mixing things and checking the bottles. It’s a simple process, really, just takes patience and a bit of a nose for it. The space isn't very big, but it fits everything we need. Jhotwara is a busy part of town, but back here in Shivaji Godara Colony, it feels a bit more tucked away. We open up the shutters in the morning and let the air circulate. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or see what new smell is drifting out. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We don't have any big fancy equipment, just the regular tools of the trade. It gets a bit cluttered with all the glass and the ingredients, but we know where everything is. It’s a decent way to spend the day, and we like being part of this local area. We stay busy with the bottles until it's time to close up and head home for dinner.
