Gopal Handicrafts

Down here at A-20 in Jems Colony, things are usually moving pretty fast. We’re right near Mandir Mod Circle in Sector-3, Vidyadhar Nagar, so it’s easy for folks to find us once they know the landmark. Gopal Handicrafts has been our daily life for years. It’s not a fancy setup, just a solid place where we get the work done. The tables are always covered in bits of wood, fabric, and whatever else we happen to be using that day. We often start early, before the sun gets too hot, and we usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It’s mostly just us working with our hands. We don’t have any big corporate meetings or anything. We just talk over tea about what needs to be finished by Friday. Every now and then, a customer pops in to ask a question, and we do what we can to help them out. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which we appreciate. Sometimes the orders get a bit much and we have to stay late, but we don't mind it too much when the weather is decent. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day, but that’s what happens when you’re making things from scratch. We’ve been through a lot of changes in the area, but we’re still here doing what we do.
