Amit Gems

Amit Gems is located at number 68 in Gangawal Park, right along Motidoogri Road. It’s a decent spot to be in because there’s always something going on outside. The road can get quite noisy with all the traffic, but inside the shop, it stays relatively calm. I usually spend my morning sorting through different stones and making sure everything is where it should be. The office is small, and we have a few chairs for when people stop by to talk or look at what we have. It’s not a fancy place at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with loupes and tweezers. Gangawal Park is a familiar landmark for anyone around here, so we don't usually have to give long directions to find us. When the sun hits the window in the afternoon, it gets really bright inside, which helps when looking at the gems. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the trade. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat at the back desk while checking the inventory. People around Motidoogri Road are mostly friendly, and we've gotten to know the shopkeepers nearby quite well. It’s just a regular business day after day, keeping things moving and dealing with whatever comes through the door. We don't do much in the way of advertising; we just stay here and work.
