Ayushi Gems & Jewels Private Limited

Our shop, Ayushi Gems & Jewels Private Limited, is right in the middle of Johari Bazar at number 595. If you know Jaipur, you know how busy it gets around Godho Ka Chowk and Haldiyon Ka Rasta. It is always loud outside with the scooters and people yelling, but once you step inside, it is a bit better. We deal with gems and jewels mostly. We have been here for a good while now. It’s a family thing. We start the day by pulling up the heavy metal shutters and dusting off the counters. The dust in the bazaar is something else, it gets everywhere no matter how much you clean. We spend most of our hours looking at stones through those little magnifying glasses. My eyes get tired by the end of the day. We get our tea from the stall just down the way. He knows how we like it. We don't have a big website or a fancy office. It’s just a small space filled with boxes and tools. Sometimes the light is good and sometimes it’s dim. We just do the work. People stop by to show us what they found or to ask a price. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the market. We just want to keep the shop going and do right by the people who come in. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
