Fraan Gems

We are over at No. 1675 in Dhanna Das Ki Baghichi, right in the Adarsh Nagar area. Our place is very close to the Jain Temple, which is a nice, quiet spot in an otherwise busy part of town. At Fraan Gems, we spend our hours looking at stones and setting them into different pieces. It is detailed work that requires a lot of light and a steady hand. The building we are in is nothing special to look at from the outside, but inside we have everything we need to do our work. Adarsh Nagar has a lot of history, and we have been part of the neighborhood for quite a while now. We do not do any big marketing. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or someone who was told about us by a friend. We keep a small inventory because we prefer to focus on the quality of what we have right in front of us. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and clean the display cases or organize the tools. Other days, we have people coming in one after another. We do not have a fancy showroom with carpets and lights. It is more of a workshop where real work happens. We like the routine of opening up, having a tea, and getting to work on the gems. It is a peaceful way to spend the day near the temple.
