Tandoori Delights

We've been here at Avani Riverside Mall for a while now. It's a busy spot in Shibpur, especially on weekends when everyone from Howrah seems to show up at once. Being on Foreshore Road means we see a lot of people just out for a walk or doing their shopping. The kitchen gets pretty hot, especially near the tandoor, but that's just how it is. We mostly focus on getting the food out on time because mall shoppers are usually in a hurry. Sometimes the music from the mall is a bit loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our staff stays busy prepping onions and checking the coal. It isn't a fancy place, just a spot to get some food while you're out. We see the same faces every few days, mostly people who work nearby or live in the Shibpur area. We just keep our heads down and keep the clay oven running. There are plenty of places to eat around here, but we just do our thing. Some days are slower than others, like Monday mornings when the mall is quiet, but by evening, the rush starts again. We don't have a big corporate team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is ready for the next order. It’s hard work standing all day, but seeing the place full makes it feel alright. We’ve been at 97/1 for some time and just hope to keep going.
