Googly Restaurant

We've been here at 31/4 Bholanath Nandy Lane for quite a while now. Most people around Howrah know us because we're located right near the Belepol Crossing. It’s a pretty busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Googly Restaurant isn't a big, fancy establishment or anything like that. We just cook regular, everyday food for the neighborhood folks. It’s a simple setup with a few tables and chairs where you can sit down and eat quietly. The kitchen is always busy, and sometimes it gets a little loud when there’s a rush, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. My family and I run the place together. We get our supplies from the local market early in the morning so everything is ready by lunch. The menu stays mostly the same because that’s what people seem to like. It’s not about being trendy or having a huge variety. We just want to make sure nobody goes away hungry. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, but it’s a comfortable enough place to have a meal. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. It feels like we’re part of the furniture in this lane by now. We’re just here doing our thing and serving whoever walks through the door.
