Alibaba is located at number 57 on G.T. Road in Bally, which is part of the wider Howrah area. We are quite close to Kedarnath Hospital, so we get a lot of people coming in who are either visiting someone or working a long shift there. G.T. Road is one of those places that never really sleeps; there are always trucks, buses, and people moving past our front door. The 711201 area has a lot of history, and we’re just a small part of it. The restaurant itself is pretty basic. We have a few ceiling fans, some sturdy tables, and a menu that hasn't changed much in years. We don't see the point in changing things just for the sake of it if people are happy. The guys in the kitchen have been with us for a long time, and they know how to handle the rush when the hospital shifts change and everyone gets hungry at once. It’s not the quietest place to eat because of the main road right outside, but it’s convenient. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure there’s enough food for everyone and that the place is open when we say it will be. Sometimes the power goes out, or the traffic is so bad that our own supplies are late arriving, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a local Howrah spot through and through, and we like being here on the road.
