Bar Bee Que Joint

Bar Bee Que Joint is on the 3rd Floor of R D Mall which is right on G T Road in Liluah. Being in a mall is different from a street shop because we have to follow the mall hours and deal with the security guards every morning. We are in the Howrah area and the traffic on G T Road is always a mess so it’s easier for people to just come inside and eat where there is air conditioning. We have been up here at number 269 for a while now. The 3rd floor is where most of the food places are so it gets really crowded on Saturday and Sunday. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure the floor isn't sticky. The kitchen is tucked in the back and it’s a bit cramped when all four of us are working at the same time. We see a lot of families who are out for a movie or shopping for clothes. It’s not the most peaceful place to work because there is always music playing from the mall speakers and people shouting. Sometimes the elevators break down and we have to carry our supplies up the stairs which is a lot of work. We aren't a big chain or anything just a small joint in Liluah trying to keep up with the lunch and dinner rush. It’s a steady life and we know most of the other shop owners on this floor.
