Angan Restaurant

Angan Restaurant is tucked away at 59/6 on Bye Lane No 3 in Howrah. We are near the Ichapur Water Tank in the Kantapukur area. Being in a bye lane means it’s a little different than being on the main highway, but people around here know the way. The water tank is the big landmark that everyone uses for directions. Howrah is a crowded city and our little corner in Kantapukur has its own rhythm. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow. The lane can be narrow, so you have to be careful when you’re coming down here. We open the doors every day and start the routine of cleaning and prepping. It’s a regular neighborhood spot. We don’t have a fancy website or a big advertising budget. We just rely on the people who live nearby or the ones who happen to be passing by the Ichapur area. Sometimes the weather in Howrah makes it tough, like when it rains heavily, but we keep the kitchen going regardless. It’s a lot of work to keep a restaurant running in a place like this, but we like being part of the local community. We know most of the neighbors by now. It’s just a simple place where we do our best to keep things moving every single day without any fuss or complicated plans.
