You can find Rohan Engineering Enterprise at 478/2, Sarat Chaterjee Road in Howrah. It’s a busy street, and we fit right in with the noise and the movement of the area. We’ve been running this engineering shop for quite some time now. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a place where we actually make things and fix things. The floors are concrete and usually have some grease on them. We have a variety of machines that we use every day. Some of them are quite old, but they still work better than the new ones if you know how to handle them. We are just a group of local guys who know our way around a workshop. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team. People just come to us because they know we are here and we know what we are doing. Howrah is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but we are used to it by now. We don't make big claims about being the leaders in anything. We just take the orders as they come and try to finish them on time. We take pride in just being able to solve a practical problem with our hands. It’s a simple life, and we are happy to be part of the community here on Sarat Chaterjee Road. We often have the radio playing in the background while we work, mostly just the local stations. It helps the day go by a bit faster when we have a lot of welding or cutting to do.
