A. L. Engineering Work

Out here in Chengail, things move at a slightly different pace than in the big cities. A. L. Engineering Work is our little setup, and we’ve been here in the village for quite some time. It’s not a big factory or anything like that, just a workshop where we take on whatever engineering tasks the local businesses need. We handle a lot of metalwork and basic repairs. Sometimes it’s a piece of farming equipment, other times it’s something for a local shop. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things. If people need us, they usually just walk in or ask around the village. The address is just the village and post office area, so everyone knows where to find the "engineering guys." We use older machines mostly, but they still work fine as long as you take care of them. Our day starts early, and we usually wrap up when the sun goes down. There’s always grease under our fingernails and the smell of cut metal in the air. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the district. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and that our neighbors are happy with it. It’s a simple way to live, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bench in front of us.
