Agarwal Engineering Works

We've been at No.14 Watkings Lane for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're right near the Howrah A.C. Market, inside the Gokul Apartment building. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or the market is just opening up. Agarwal Engineering Works isn’t some big fancy place with glass walls; it’s just where we get things done. We handle a lot of different mechanical jobs and parts. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the machines running, but that's just how a workshop is. You might find some grease on the counters or stacks of papers near the back desk. We don’t really worry about making everything look perfect for a magazine. If someone comes in looking for a specific part or needs something fixed, we just look through the shelves. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We know the neighbors and the guys at the tea stall nearby. It’s a practical way to spend the day. There is always something that needs tightening or a piece of metal that needs cutting. We stay busy with the local projects and the occasional big order that comes through the door. It’s just us, some heavy tools, and the usual routine of a Howrah workshop. Nothing more to it than that, really. We just keep the doors open and get through the list of tasks for the day until it’s time to head home.
