A.C. Engineering Works

A.C. Engineering Works is located out in Village Hantal, which is a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here. We have been at this spot near the Hantal Post Office for years. Jagacha is a quiet enough area, but our workshop usually has some noise coming out of it. We mostly deal with mechanical parts and fixing up whatever machinery comes our way. The floor is usually covered in some bit of oil or metal shavings, no matter how much we try to clean it up. It’s just part of the job when you’re working with your hands all day. We have a couple of older machines that still run better than the new stuff we see. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we all know each other’s families and what’s happening in the village. It’s not like those big factories in the city where nobody knows your name. We take our time with the work to make sure it’s done right the first time. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part is stuck or something breaks, but that’s engineering for you. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our sign out front and people talking. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise until the evening when we finally shut off the power and head home to have dinner with our families.
