Binod & Ramesh Engineering Works

Binod & Ramesh Engineering Works is a small shop located at 11 Musalman Para Lane in the Bantra area. We are tucked away in Kadamtalla, and the lane is quite narrow. It makes it a bit of a challenge when we have to move larger pieces of equipment. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of machines and the smell of grease. We have been here for a long time, and the place has a lot of character. My hands are almost always dirty from working on the lathes or doing some welding. We have gathered a lot of tools over the years, and they are spread out across the benches. It is not a clean or quiet environment, but it is where we do our best work. People from around the neighborhood bring us all sorts of things to fix. We don't have a big office or a place for customers to sit and wait. Most people just stand by the door and talk to us while we work. The walls are covered with old calendars and notes we have scribbled down. We focus on the metalwork and making sure things are built to last. It is honest work and we enjoy the challenge of fixing something that someone else said was broken. We don't have a website or do any advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking down the lane.
