Associated Toolings (India) Pvt. Ltd. is based out in Balitikuri, specifically in the Kalitala area. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but we like the space we have. We make various types of tools and parts for machines. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of grinders and drills. It can get pretty loud, so we have to speak up when we're talking to each other on the floor. We have some older machines that still work perfectly and a few newer ones too. The floors are concrete and usually have a few oil spots here and there. We don't have a fancy entrance or a polished lobby. You just walk in and you're pretty much in the middle of where the work happens. Our workers live nearby and have been with us for years. We aren't a corporate giant, just a local factory making parts that people need. Sometimes the raw materials take a while to arrive because of the narrow roads leading here, but we plan around that. We spend our days checking dimensions and making sure everything fits together like it should. It’s a straightforward environment without any pretense. We take pride in just getting the tools finished and shipped out to our customers on time. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We aren't big on meetings or paperwork; we just like to get on with the manufacturing. That's the way we've always done things here in Kalitala.
