Bodhak Engineering Works

You can find Bodhak Engineering Works over in Ichapur Sastibagan. It’s part of the Santragachi area, which is known for having a lot of these kinds of workshops and small factories. Our place is tucked away a bit from the main road, but it’s a solid location for the type of engineering we do. We have a fairly large space compared to some of the other shops nearby. It’s an old-school workshop with high ceilings and plenty of shadows. We deal with a lot of heavy metal parts and machinery every single day. The floors are concrete and usually have some oil stains, which is just normal for a place like this. Santragachi has a certain rhythm to it, and we’ve become a part of that over time. We see the same faces every day, mostly other workers or delivery guys dropping off materials. We don’t spend much time or money on decorating the place. The focus is always on the machines and the jobs we have to finish. Some of our equipment has been with us for years and it still works perfectly for what we need. It’s an honest way to earn a living, making things from scratch and fixing what’s broken. We don't have a receptionist or a front desk. If you come by, you’ll likely find one of us under a machine or standing at a workbench. The air smells like metal and old grease, but that’s how a real workshop should be.
