Camlin Engineering Company

You can find us at 115, Narasingha Dutta Road. Camlin Engineering Company has been operating out of this building for quite some time now. The street is always full of people and vendors, so it can be quite a walk to get to our door during the day. Inside, it's mostly the sound of tools and the smell of cut metal. We aren't big on decorations or making the place look pretty for visitors. It’s a workspace first and foremost. We have some old shelves filled with parts and tools that have been there since we started. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, one of us is busy with a machine while the other handles the phone calls. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving enough. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy logo on the wall. We just put on our overalls and get to work every morning. Most of our clients are other local businesses who need something fixed or fabricated. We talk to them over tea and figure out what they need on a piece of scrap paper. It’s not high-tech, but it works for us. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here at number 115. It is a solid place to work.
