Down at Jawala Bazar in Aundha, we set up Barashiv Agro Industry Farmers Producercompany Limited. Our main spot is at House Number 3351. It’s a busy little area, and we are right in the middle of it. We are just a group of local farmers who wanted to do things a bit more professionally. We handle agro-industry stuff, but at the end of the day, we are still just people who work the land. There’s a lot of activity at Jawala Bazar, so it made sense to be based here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big offices. We just want to make sure the crops we grow get the attention they deserve. It is hard to make a living in farming these days, so we figured we’d be stronger if we worked as one unit. We talk about machines, seeds, and who is buying what this season. Sometimes we disagree, but that’s just how it goes when everyone cares about their livelihood. We don't have a polished story to tell. We just show up every morning and see what the day brings. Hingoli district is our home, and we want to see the local farmers do well. It’s a simple thing, really. We keep the paperwork in order at the house and spend the rest of our time out where the real work happens. It takes a lot of energy to keep this going, but it is worth the effort for the village.
