We are located out in Gram Pareli, which is right by Shahabad in Hardoi. Balvir Singh Farmer Producer Companylimited is basically a group of us who have been farming these lands for a long time. It started because we needed a better way to work together instead of everyone just trying to figure things out on their own. Most of the people involved are neighbors or from the village. Life around here really revolves around the seasons and what we are currently growing in the fields. It is hard work every day, and the weather definitely does not always go our way, but we keep at it. Our office is right here in the village, and it is nothing fancy at all. If you are coming from Shahabad, it is not a very far drive once you get past the post office area. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a simple spot where we gather to talk about the crops, the seeds, and how things are moving along in the market. Everyone knows each other in this area. We handle the daily tasks, deal with the boring paperwork when we have to, and try to make sense of the prices. Sometimes the rains come late or the sun is just too hot, but that is just how it goes in farming. We just wanted a local setup to manage things. It is a simple life in Hardoi.
