Tandiyawan Hardoi Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over at Dharmgaj’s place, he’s the son of Shiv Dayal. We are right by the Dhear Maholiya Railway Ganj in Hardoi. Being near the railway is actually pretty handy for us. We are a group of farmers who wanted to do things a bit differently by working as one unit. It’s a busy part of town with the trains and everything going on. We spend our mornings looking at the crops and our afternoons handling the business side of things. It’s not a polished operation with uniforms or anything. We usually just wear what we work in. We’ve got a lot of history in Hardoi and most of us have been on these lands for generations. Joining together as a producer company was just a practical step for us. We help each other with logistics and getting the right supplies for the season. It’s hard work and the sun gets pretty hot out here. We don’t have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just want to sell our produce and make sure the farm stays in good shape for the next year. You can find us near the tracks if you’re looking. We are usually around doing something with the bags or the equipment. It’s a simple life but we like it.
