Our group focuses on nature farming, which basically means we try to do things the old way without all the extra stuff you see these days. It is a lot of manual work and checking the soil. Hardoi is a place where agriculture is the main thing everyone does, so it makes sense to be here. We started this because we wanted to have more control over how our crops are grown and where they go. It’s a small operation. You won't find a big glass building. Just a house where we keep our seeds and the books. Sometimes we sit out on the porch and discuss the rain or the harvest schedule. It’s a bit dusty in the summer and the roads can be rough after it rains, but we are used to it. We deal with local farmers who want to stick to more natural methods.
