Ym Agro Producer Company Limited

Ym Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of Sandila, specifically in a place called Jharaha. We work out of House Number 01, which belongs to Sundar Lal, the son of Shankarhoue. It’s a very local setup through and through. We don’t have a big fancy office building or anything like that. We mostly just sit in the front room or out on the porch to talk about the crops and how the season is going. Sandila is a busy enough area, but out in Jharaha, things are a bit slower and more focused on the land. We started this company because we wanted to get the local growers together. It’s a lot of work and sometimes it’s hard to get everyone to agree on things. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and looking at handwritten notes about seed prices and harvest dates. The house is usually full of people coming by to ask questions or just to see what’s happening. We don’t have a receptionist, so you just walk in and say hello. The power goes out a lot in the afternoons, but we just keep working by the window. It’s not a polished business with a lot of money, it’s just us trying to make things work for the people around here. We know everyone’s name and that counts for a lot in a place like this. We take it one day at a time.
