Vkl Seasoning is located at Xii/136A on the Kundannoor-Maradu Road in Maradu. This part of Kerala is quite lush, but our road is a busy artery for trucks and commuters. The building we occupy is large and serves as both our office and our main processing center. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the intense smell of different spices and seasonings. It’s something we’ve all grown used to, but it can be quite strong for visitors. We spend our days managing the intake of raw spices and the output of our seasoning blends. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure the right ingredients are in the right place at the right time. Our office is a simple room with a few desks and a lot of clipboards hanging on the walls. We don't have any fancy furniture or expensive carpets. The floors are mostly tiled and easy to clean, which is necessary in this line of work. Maradu is a good location because it’s well-connected, though the rains can sometimes cause flooding on the road outside. We have a dedicated crew of workers who handle the mixing and the packaging. We don't use any corporate slogans; we just focus on keeping the machines running and the orders moving out the door. It’s a busy, practical life here on the Kundannoor-Maradu Road, and we’ve been part of this landscape for many years now.
