Amalgam Foods Ltd. is located out in Kuthiathode, near the Thuravoor post office in Alleppey. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main town, but it’s a nice area with a lot of greenery around. Being in Alleppey means we deal with a lot of rain and humidity, but that’s just how it is here. Our facility isn't some high-tech lab; it’s a practical space where we handle food products. You can smell whatever we are working on that day as soon as you walk through the gates. The staff mostly comes from the surrounding villages, so everyone knows each other. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have any big slogans or mission statements printed on the walls. We just show up, do the work, and make sure things are handled properly. The pace of life is a little slower here compared to the big cities, which we don’t mind at all. Sometimes cows wander past the entrance or local farmers stop by to chat. It’s a grounded way to run a business. We use the local post office for most of our mail, which is why the address is so important to us. It’s a quiet spot, away from the noise of the highways. We’ve been here for years, and we plan to stay for many more, just doing things the way we always have, without any fuss.
