Our place is located in the Industrial Development Area of Binanipuram. We are at B-No 615. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the industrial work happens. We focus on char products, which is a fairly specialized field. The yard is usually full of materials and the machines are running most of the day. It is a dusty environment, so we don't wear our best clothes to work. Active Char Products has been around this area for quite some time. We have seen the industrial estate change over the years. The weather can be quite tough in the summer months, but we just keep going. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy website. Most of our coordination happens over the phone or just by talking to the drivers who come to pick up the loads. It is a practical setup designed for work, not for showing off. The crew we have is small and they know the routine well. We don't have formal meetings or mission statements posted on the walls. We just look at what needs to be produced for the week and we get to it. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we just have to wait it out. It is the kind of place where you get your hands dirty every single day. We don't mind the hard work as long as the orders keep coming in.
