Plant Lipids (P) Ltd

Our place is out in Kolenchery, specifically in the Kadayiruppu area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like it that way because it gives us more space to work with plant extracts. We deal with lipids and natural ingredients that come from plants. The air around here often smells like spices or herbs, depending on what we are processing that week. We don't have a big corporate headquarters with glass walls. Our buildings are practical and meant for production. We spend a lot of time in the labs or out on the floor making sure the machinery is running like it should. The people who work here mostly live in the nearby villages, so it feels like a very local operation. We don't use a lot of marketing talk because the quality of our extracts speaks for itself when people use them. Sometimes the monsoon season makes things difficult, but we are used to that in Kerala. We just keep our heads down and focus on the science of what we do. It’s a lot of testing and re-testing to make sure everything is right. We aren't trying to be the most famous company in the world; we just want to be the one that people trust because we don't cut corners. It’s quiet work, but it is steady and it keeps us busy throughout the year. We like it here.
