Sangam

Supela Main Road is the heart of Bhilai, and that is where you will find Sangam. We have been here in the Durg district for quite some time now. The road outside is always full of motorcycles and people going about their business. It is a very local kind of place, nothing like the big malls you see in the larger cities. We spend our days managing the daily flow of customers and making sure everything is in order. The building is older, and it has that specific smell of a place that has seen a lot of years. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy signs. Most people who come here are from the neighborhood or work in the nearby shops in Bhilai Nagar. It can get pretty dusty because of the industrial nature of the area, so we are constantly wiping down the surfaces and sweeping the entrance. We have a small staff, and we all know what needs to be done without being told. It isn't always easy, especially when the weather is boiling hot in the afternoon, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We close the shutters late at night and head home, only to do it all again the next morning. It is a humble existence, but it is our way of contributing to the life of the city here in 490001.
