Himalaya Park Restaurant

You can find us right in the middle of Supela Square. We are part of the Himalaya Complex, which is a busy spot in Bhilai. Most people know the Akash Ganga area, so we aren't too hard to track down. The restaurant is inside the hotel building. It gets pretty loud during the lunch rush when everyone comes in from the market. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen or clearing off tables. It’s a lot of work to keep a kitchen running every single day without a break. Sometimes a burner stops working or we run out of something fresh, and we have to scramble. That’s just how the restaurant business goes. We have local regulars who come in for the same thing every week. I recognize most of their faces by now. We don't have some big corporate menu. It’s just food people like to eat. The staff has been here for a while, so we all know how to work together. It’s not always perfect, but we try our best to get the plates out hot. When the square gets crowded on weekends, we barely have time to sit down. We just keep moving until the last customer leaves. It’s a tiring job but seeing the same neighbors come back makes it feel worth it. We just keep the doors open and the stove going for as long as people keep coming.
